Buddy Care Foundation helps dogs who need medical care
A Nashville entertainment publicist has created the Buddy Care Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to dog owners that can’t afford critical medical care for canine companions in need.
The goal of Buddy Care Foundation is to help save the lives of loved and valued canine companions, so that no family has to make a decision to end a life due to financial hardship. Through this program, pet owners can apply for a Buddy Care Grant to help cover the costs of life-saving canine medical care. Grant requests will require the recommendation and cooperation of a licensed veterinarian, the complete diagnosis and recommended course of treatment, a positive prognosis, shared financial responsibility and financial statements demonstrating hardship.
Buddy Care Foundation will kick off an extensive media campaign this summer, and country music superstar Collin Raye has partnered with the organization for a benefit concert scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 7 at the Franklin Theatre in Franklin, Tenn. Tickets are now on sale at FranklinTheatre.com.
CAMPAIGN IS NO ILLUSION – Master Illusionist Harris III recently announced the launch of a Kickstarter campaign to complete his first full-length DVD, Harris III – Master Illusionist. Filmed in the USA and Europe, Harris III has created a never-before-seen presentation that is unmatched and uniquely original.
The feature-length production combines live performances of illusions blended within an artistic film short. The beautifully shot featurette centers around a 1920’s boy who learns both magic and the lessons of life from a master illusionist. Loosely based on Harris III’s own evolution, the boy – turned headstrong young magician – is determined to outdo the Great Houdini. The story’s lessons raise the curtain on the perils of pride, the dangers of deception, and the transforming magic of finding one’s true purpose. In the words of the boy’s teacher, “The chains of deception have many locks. But for everything there is a key.”
