Holly Spears goes from “Heartache to Hope” to engaged
“We got engaged on March 1 right before our band rehearsal for our upcoming CD release party,” said Spears. “He proposed at the exact spot where we first saw each other – right outside the building of our rehearsal space.”
Produced by Mitch Dane (Jars of Clay, Bebo Norman, Caedmon’s Call) at Nashville’s famed Sputnik Sound recording studio, Heartache to Hope features vocal, bass, keyboard and mastering support from the members of the multi-platinum band Jars of Clay.
Spears’ 2009 indie release, Redemption Road, landed her music on network shows on MTV and VH1, and led to concert appearances alongside such notables as Blessid Union of Souls, Spin Doctors, Gin Blossoms and Roger McGuinn of The Byrds, among others.
