Toledo Symphony Orchestra to perform pops concert at University of Findlay
The University of Findlay’s Concert and Lecture Series will begin at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, with a pops concert by the Toledo Symphony Orchestra.
The performance will include “Tara” from “Gone with the Wind,” “Gonna Fly Now” from “Rocky” and the themes from both “The Godfather” and “Jurassic Park.”
Jeffrey Pollock, resident conductor, will direct the orchestra. He is known for the “musicality of his performances, his innovative concert programming and for his ability to make connections with audiences,” according to the TSO website.
Kirk Toth will be a violin soloist.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for senior citizens and $10 for students. Admission for UF undergraduate and graduate students is free, but a ticket is required. UF faculty and staff may purchase tickets for $15. Tickets are available by calling the Box Office at 419-434-5335 or emailing email@example.com.
