Up, Up and Away 5K to Begin at 8 a.m. Aug. 13, Proceeds to Benefit Special Olympics
Findlay, Ohio — The Up, Up and Away 5K race will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Emory Adams Park. Registration begins at 7 a.m.
Race time was incorrectly advertised at 9 a.m. in recent publications.
There will be a 5K run/walk and fun runs for kids of all ages. There are prizes three-deep in each age group category for the 5K and prizes for all participants in the kids’ runs.
Runners may register in one of three ways: online at www.active.com any time until Friday, Aug. 12; in person at Northwest Ohio Orthopedics (NWO) Friday, Aug. 12, from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.; or until 7:45 a.m. on race day at the event.
The Up, Up and Away 5K is organized by the Findlay Striders with the help of several areas businesses to benefit the Hancock County Special Olympics.
