Juneteenth Celebration looks interesting

One of the best things about Central Ohio is that there is always something interesting to do.

If I get a chance, I would like to check out Franklin Park’s Juneteenth Celebration noon-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday at Franklin Park , 177 E. Broad St., Columbus .

The free celebration celebrates the Emancipation Proclamation.

I’m looking forward to learning more about the Underground Railroad and other events srrounding the Civil War that led to freedom for many African-Americans.

For information, call 614-258-4633 or visit the event’s web site.
