Kelly Massillo’s work to be featured in The University of Findlay’s Lea Gallery
A collection of work by Kelly Massillo will be on display June 13-July 1 at The University of Findlay’s Lea Gallery, located inside the Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion. The gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
From Ada, Ohio, Massillo is an artist and art educator. She taught visual arts in public schools at all levels since 1981. Since 1992, she has been an art instructor at Allen East High School.
Massillo works in a wide variety of media, including colored pencil, water-soluble pencil, pastels, graphite, scratchboard, watercolors and acrylics. She has participated in many local art shows, including the Artspace/Lima spring shows, the Wassenberg Gallery shows and the Findlay Art League shows.
She earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from Bowling Green State University and later received a master of arts in education from Bluffton University. She is a member of both Artspace/Lima and the Findlay Art League.
