Living Christmas Trees Pageant in its 24th Year
Join Grace Brethren Church of Columbus for the 2010 Living Christmas Trees pageant, and get to know Mac as he works his way through life. Meet people he chooses along the way and some who were chosen for him. Some are supportive and delightful, some hurtful and unforgivable, but all are unforgettable! As Mac reflects on his past, present, and future, he considers things he’s learned along the way from each person and what they may have learned from him. In the end he learns by example that there’s no forgiveness without love and no love without forgiveness.
Experience this thought-provoking new script for 2010, enjoy classic Christmas music (and some new favorites!), and wonder at the live animals and special effects that have made Living Christmas Trees a holiday tradition in Central Ohio and surrounding areas for nearly a quarter-century!
As a special Christmas gift, Grace has invited volunteers, clients, and staff from about ten area charitable organizations to attend a special performance Friday evening, December 3, at no cost. The church is preparing to welcome over 2,500 people who might not otherwise be able to attend this unique holiday event.
Regular performances open to the public happen December 4–19, Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are available online (www.GraceLCT.org), by phone (1-888-477-8573) and at Grace Bookstore/Café (8225 Worthington-Galena Road, Westerville, OH 43081). Contrary to popular belief, good seats remain available for most performances throughout the three-weekend run.
Grace Brethren Church of Columbus has been part of the Central Ohio community for over 45 years, and offers opportunities to engage people of all ages. Sunday worship gatherings take place at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. at the Grace Worship Center (8225 Worthington-Galena Road, Westerville, OH 43081). Visit www.GracePolaris.org to learn more.
